CHRISTINE SCHEER
Christine is the farmers’ market manager at the Covent Garden Market. She has been an advocate of local sustainable agriculture for many years. She lives on an organic farm with her husband John Wilson and their two daughters. Along with the 25 acres of organic produce that John grows, they also have twelve happy chickens, two lambs (Emmie and Suzy - friends of the family), a farm dog (Maggie), and assorted cats. Christine is also a chef instructor, writes a regular column for CityWoman magazine, and appears regularly on Roger’s Daytime Show cooking up in season products from the local farmers’ market.
DALLAS ROCHELEAU
Dallas Rocheleau lives in London, Ontario and has been blogging about local eating since 2009. She sources out local foods from the Southwestern Ontario region and loves to spend time in the kitchen making seasonal recipes. LESLIE GARRETT
Leslie Garrett is an author, journalist and mother of three children who frequently send her shopping in search of snow boots, underwear or whatever else they’ve outgrown. Tired of coming home with stress headaches, she began researching how to shop with a social and environmental conscience. Convinced she wasn’t alone in her desire to make smarter, more earth-friendly purchases, she developed The Virtuous Consumer, a syndicated column about socially and environmentally responsible choices, that appears regularly in newspapers throughout North America. Her book, The Virtuous Consumer: Your Essential Shopping Guide for a Better, Kinder, Healthier World was released in July 2007. Leslie lives in London, Ontario.
KELLY HUNT
Kelly is a converted city girl, who has always been interested in the health of her environment. She moved out to the country - just north of London, Ontario - in 2007 and has been trying to source local food ever since. Because she has often found it a difficult process, she decided to keep a blog to help anyone else that may share the same interest in eating locally.

For eight years Michelle was the owner/operator of an eco-friendly cleaning company based in London, Ontario, before moving to Toronto to pursue studies in the alternative health field and grow her eco-friendly professional organizing business. Back in London now, Michelle currently works in nonprofit communications and resource development, and blogs regularly about green living and holistic wellness.
